The Journey
Growing up in the concrete jungle of Scotland's capital city,
uninspired by grey skies and surrounded by bustling crowds of strangers,
my adventurous soul grew restless.
Little did they know, I was planning my escape...
As a child I was fascinated by our world.
In geography lessons my mind wandered into thoughts of one day becoming an intrepid explorer.
To travel to the far reaches of the planet in search of mountains and glacier valleys,
rainforests, rivers and caves, volcanoes and arid desert.
In the eighth year of my nomadic lifestyle,
I have seen so many places of indescribable beauty that no camera or words could ever truly capture.
I invite you to join me on my journey so that you can share my experience of this incredible planet.
I hope that my work inspires you to travel more and to believe that you too can break free from the ordinary day to day
and experience the freedom that is out there waiting for you.

The Intrepid Artist
My Medium
I work predominantly with acrylic paint on canvas but occasionally I will play with pastel or pencil drawings.
As a travelling artist it becomes difficult to protect your work when moving from place to place. Once my canvases are dry they are the easiest medium to transport as the work remains as bold and eye-catching as the day it was created.
Many of my paintings are available to order as prints.
These are produced by one of the top fine art printers in Tasmania on high quality archival papers.
These are available framed or unframed.
Postcards or greetings cards are also available for tourism businesses looking for souvenir product.
My Inspiration
I always feel happiest when I'm surrounded by nature.
In my spare time I can be found hiking, kayaking, skiing, or camping. My most incredible travel memories have been made whilst living in a campervan, with the freedom to up and go anywhere at anytime. There is something peaceful about waking up next to a river in the mountains
with only the wildlife to share your morning coffee
My travels have taken me to different extremes
from the hot desert of outback Australia
to the snowy mountains of Canada and Alaska.
This planet has so much to offer and I hope to see it all
and to capture it as best I can for you all to see.
